Position Description:
Attend 3-hour-long mathematics/science classes presented by Canadian teacher in English on a daily basis;
Record Canadian teacher’s teaching activities and students’ in-class performance;
Help students check their assignments and give appropriate directions before they submit;
Run trouble-shooting seminars or one-on-one tutorials to students who may have problems in learning course contents;
Monitor and evaluate all students’ learning progress, document potential improvement of teaching plans and regularly deliver duty reports to the academic supervisor
Qualification / Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher;
Be familiar with high-school-level disciplinary knowledge in mathematics, statistics, chemistry and physics;
English proficiency of CET-4 equivalent (or higher);
Responsible, enthusiastic, hardworking and a quick-learner
Be able to communicate with Canadian teacher in English if necessary
Good problem solving skills while dealing with youth who have a potential to be rebellious or hard to control
